The chair looks good but doesn't hold up well. There are only two adults in my household and neither of us use this chair much. Within several months the seat hit the floor when screws came out of the wooden frame. I'm only 200 lbs and my girlfriend is no more than 125. When I tried to reinforce with screws to try and put it back together they just stripped out after a week as the wood is so cheap. Again it looks good and is a perfect size, but it is not made for regular use.

These are small chairs for average persons. They are easy enough to assemble. Aesthetically they look good but they are much, much darker than the photo amazon is advertising. They are supposed to be brown but they look black. I don't know if I should keep them or return them because the color doesn't quite look right with my living area. Also one chair had a scratch on it on the seat. I don't know what I'm going to do, might keep them and move them to a different area/room of my home. I can't see them lasting long with moderate amount of everyday use but these would be great for an office type area where they'd probably last longer too. Chairs are comfortable in reclining position.

Just received my club chair today. I was relieved that the assembly was super easy. I did not have another adult to assist which would probably made it even easier. I am sitting (or I should say reclining) in it right now, and it is more comfortable than I expected. Great buy!

Update : foam /sponge is falling from the bottom of the chair. Less than 3 months. The fabric that holds it ripped by the mechanism and now sponge from the seat cushion falls on the floor in chunks. I'm not a heavy guy and this is unacceptable. I'm going to contact seller and see what happens.

Just like the picture and how it was described. It's not the big puffy lazy chair that you fall a sleep in. This is more for TV time and also works as part of a living room when people come over because it's easy to get in and out. It's on the solid side on the back section which is good for people with back issues. But once the leather relaxes then it will become leaner.

Setting it up was easy. Install legs with a plastic large washers and flip it on its legs, insert the top section which was light and drive it into the locking mechanism and your set... Leather looks real from far away but once you feel it you can tell its vinyl. To keep it crack free, you need to wipe it down with leather cleaner /conditioner at least once every two months.

When ups brought it, the man carried it to the house. I had to flip box over to get the unopened box up the steps to the second floor.

Easy to use and looks like it will handle anyone under 250 pounds.

I may have been the one that has discovered Amazon is imploding. I ordered this chair not because I thought it was the best available but because it had reasonable reviews and was listed under Prime so I could figure on getting it fairly quick. I had been in an accident and needed a chair to convalesce. It did show up as expected but it is apparent that the enormous lettering on the outside of the huge box that said "LIGHT BEIGE fabric" meant nothing to the employees filling an order for a brown leather chair. So I jumped the hoops, got it sent back and reordered the correct chair. Six days after my original order the second box shows up. "BLACK" this time. I gave up and just decided I would keep it even though I did not want a black chair. At this moment it becomes apparent that there are no feet for the chair anywhere in the box. This is not Amazon's fault, this is quality control in the backlands of China. I called the number that the California distributor puts into the box before sending them out just for this occasion, missing parts and feet. The employee there tells me that they are unable to help me, even though they have a shelf load of feet sitting there, because Amazon is too big and they are unable to identify the order. They route my call back to Amazon. I had to start all over explaining why I need their help to get my chair put together. The answer was I would need to repack everything and ship it to Chicago, where the first chair went.
At this point I am not sure if I can get this done. So I may be sitting on a Chinese chair made out of fake leather and propped up off the floor by old Tacoma phone books.
Additionally: After no success getting anyone to send the chair legs I cobbled some together out of an old chunk of douglas fir. If you have young ones in your house, specifically teens, this is not the chair you want unless you don't care if it is broken within a few months. It is not made to withstand abuse. My impression is that the profile is more like a business class airline seat than anything else. I am leaving the one star rating just because of the poor customer service.
