This ladder is wonderful. It is easy to install, folds up onto the dock when swimming is done, and is easily removed for safe storage.
The locknuts were a problem as they would jam when trying to install the steps. I got so frustrated I replaced them with purchased nuts. This is a product flaw. I atman engineering type and and not stymied by mechanical assembly. The nuts that came with the product tested my patience.
All in all this is a very good product but they need a new supplier for the locknuts.

This ladder is great but hardware could be better. The bolts for the deck receptacles are not long enough to go through a nominal 2 x 6 deck board. Also the curved end of the "j" hooks should be, in my opinion, about 1/2 " longer for securing the ladder for my comfort level. Everything else about the ladder is great. I've just had to make adjustments for safety.

My husband struggled to get onto our pontoon boat with regular straight hanging stairs do to getting old, no upper arm strenghth to pull yourself up and bad knees, these stairs are exactly what we needed. Strong and sturdy so far, only used the boat a few times this season due the engine trouble but I really like these stairs

Excellent strong, loops allow pulling yourself out of water; a couple of plastic pieces (end caps) missing will request. Poor packing of hardware; all in plastic bag that broke and also cardboard box broken; fortunately no hardware lost.
