The coffee stirrers are good quality, and I haven't had any problems with them not stirring when I stick them in a tea cup and move them around.
On a less sarcastic note, while some reviewers mentioned that the box was not made for taking out stirrers, it's true, but it's not too bad; the biggest problem is that you may touch more than one stirrer if you take them directly out of the box. If you just put out a cup and stick some stirrers in there for people to take, though, you'll have no problem (and you can also avoid the person who says "hey, we have a thousand? I'll take twenty just for the heck of it!").

I actually bought these for a couple different craft projects. I couldn't find any great pics or descriptions so I was just HOPING they were hollow & sturdy. If you are a crafter looking for something to 'string' these are perfect.
As far as drink stirring goes they are quite sturdy, heat resistant & seem to be a perfect length so a Great value over all whatever your purpose.

Saves me from washing lots of extra spoons for our morning coffee. We use them at home and place in a small glass beside the coffeemaker. These do not get soft in hot coffee while some stir sticks do.

I used to be able to buy 100 similar stirrers at CVS at $0.70 but they don't carry it anymore. Can't find any coffee stirrers at Walmart or Kroger, the only one I can find was at Tom Thumb, 200pcs flat stirrers at $2.84. Then I go on-line and find this good deal. My one box arrives in 5 days and they are in good quality, just ordered another box. Highly recommended.
