I was really looking forward to this humidor HUM-400FL. I removed it from the packaging and noticed the bag it was wrapped in was all torn . Once I removed all the wrapping I opened the unit and looked close for issues others had had with units like this. I then examined the outside and notice the corned looked as if it had been dropped . I also noticed that the corner of the lid was all messed up. Can afford to pay this price for used or damaged units like this.

Just received today. This is my second humidor and a huge step up from my first. Impressive construction and plenty of room for multiple boxes and single cigars. Bigger than i thought it would be. Starting ti season immediately. Did order a digital hygrometer to replace the analog it came with, which was recommended. Also will be using boveda packs for the first time as well. The seal on the lid is great, worlds better than the $40 humidor I have been using. I don't think for the size, quality, or price I could have done much better! I highly recommend this humidor for people like me that have been getting into fine cigars for the past couple years. Pretty excited to fill it up.

I love this humidor. I have had this unit now for about a year. It allows me to buy good boxes of cigars when I can get a good price and have somewhere to store them. It's a nice quality box and the two trays are perfect for getting to the "on deck" cigars. I use half of the second tray to lay about six Boveda humidification packs flat and that keeps the cigars perfectly humidified.

Like any humidor you will need to upgrade it's humidifier and higromiter, they are not part of this rating. Higromiter is useless but looks good. I have added xikar higromiter and cristal humidifiers

You get exactly what you hope for with this box. There are imperfections with the finish of the outside of box and you can see that the Spanish cedar is only a thin vanier on the inside, but it does the job. The aroma is quite low (spanish cedar is ideal because of its low odar) similar to humidor cabinets priced at $6000.

The design of a chest is not the most practical for everyday use and like all humidor ratings you won't fit 400 cigars. But for the price you can't beet this humidor.

This box is ideal for long term storage as the bottom of the box which is harder to access has a lower humidity, say 65% - 68% which is perfect for aging.

The top two layers have keep a perfect 70 70 reading and I've used it mutable times every day since i have had it. And it is in the middle of a hot summer here.

The seal is great, the lock works, it feels nice and solid. Shipping was more than a week ahead of scheduled for international delivery. It has a very strong hinge. Well recomended if you want to store a large amount for cheap.

This is not my main humidor that I keep at the house. I needed something large and sturdy to keep with me out on the road. I have been through a couple of slightly smaller ones in the past 2 years that i kept breaking the hinges on. Thus the size and the fact it has a piano hinge in the middle is why I purchased this humidor. I haven't owned this unit long enough to give it a full review. Build quality seems ok, but not great.
