I used these for sand volleyball in early spring and late fall. I didn't think they would make much of a difference, but I was the only one not complaining about cold sand. Highly recommended.
Daughter Wore for Sand Soccer

My daughter's soccer team participated in a sand soccer tournament and it was recommended that they wear sand socks for play. I purchased these because I have a pair I wear with my fins when I snorkel and I've been pleased with the quality and fit. My daughter was very happy to have these. She said they fit well and it was nice not having to burn her feet walking on the sand, then playing soccer in the sand. They are thin, so they did not protect her much from the bruises as a result of getting stepped on during the matches, but that is just part of the game. The tournament organizers had several booths set up selling this exact same brand of sand socks at the tournament. A couple of my daughters' teammates hadn't purchased any before the weekend and after the first match, they bought them for the remaining matches. They all agreed it was far better to play with the sand socks than without.

These are great for sand soccer however they run extremely big. I had to purchase 3 pairs before finding the right fit. I wear a size 7.5 in woman's and had to purchase the xsmall.
