This is a beautiful lamp. It is heavy enough that it will be very steady and yet not too heavy that you can't move it around to where you need it. Unlike other outdoor lamps, the shade design here won't offer resistance to the wind which causes other lamps to more easily be knocked down when it's windy. The price is great.

Excellent quality lamp outdoor and it looks amazing. Very easy to assemble, even if it required a little trial-and-error installing the screws to put the glass shade on correctly. Package was perfectly packed and arrived without any damage. We use it in a 20x20 screened deck. A 100 watt bulb would REALLY light it up, too much for us. We use a 60 watt bulb and that's plenty light for reading in the evening, and the glass shade for the bulb allows a lovely light. The base is adequately heavy. It's color, however, is closer to black than the "bronze" of the resin shade wrap. But it looks good. 3-prong cord is long enough. On/Off button is properly covered for weather and easy to push. Definitely recommend!

Got this to go with my brown faux wicker outdoor furniture and am using it on my covered patio that has walls on 3 sides. I placed the lamp all the way next to the back wall between my sofa and chair to protect it from wind (and rain/sprinklers) although it feels hefty. I figure if I need to pull it out more for use, I can. So far, no problems despite several days of high winds and some pretty crazy rain storms with high winds.. About installing the bowl, place it on the lamp and then line up the holes and screw in the screws only part way until you have it aligned correctly. Then tighten each screw a bit moving around the lamp from screw to screw until they feel secure not tight as you could break the glass if you tighten too much. If you tighten the screws up one at a time, you will not be able to align them easily.
Outdoor lamp has a fragile glass inside shade.

The packaging for this lamp was terrible. The interior shade is glass and came shattered. I threw it away. I guess that was a mistake because they want everything shipped back in order to receive a refund. The aluminum threads are very difficult to line up when putting the 3 piece pole together so be very careful not to mess up the threads! All in all, I guess I wouldn't buy this again, it's pretty cheaply made.

This is a very nice lamp that, I think, would look great on any patio. It uses a 100w bulb, so it can be bright for reading. The base is heavy and supports the lamp; it's easy to put together; price is right. Not sure what else I can say except that I'm happy that I bought this.
