Great board but wish it had a raised border so pieces don't slip off

This board is a nice size to be able to use on your lap. It has a slight edge around the border and is felt so that puzzle pieces stay put. It is nicely padded on the bottom for comfortable lap use.
NOT for U.S. 1000 Piece Puzzles!

It's OK for 550 piece puzzle, but does NOT handle 1000 piece puzzles. Quite disappointed. Unfortunately, I threw the box away after completing my first 550 piece puzzle because there were no problems with it. We started a 1000 piece puzzle today, and the puzzle's measurements of 24" x 30" doesn't fit on this 21" x 30" puzzle board.

Too small for a 500 piece puzzle. This would probably work for puzzles under 300 or for puzzles with really tiny pieces. The quality is good, just wish it was bigger or wasn't advertised as up to 1,000 pieces.
