The star is ok. I would say it matches the price. You will get a lit up star nothing too fancy so don't expect a work of art and you wont be disappointed. It does the job and its not bad enough that I would ask for a refund.

I love this Christmas tree topper! The 3-D double golden five pointed star has 10 clear incandescent mini lights, and it looks great from the front and sides, but it isn't designed for back viewing. Its base is a conical spiral spring that fit well on the folded over tip of my artificial tree. The star weighs only 3.67 oz (0.23 lb). Its cord is 56" long and ends with a stackable plug. More dimensions: outer star tip to tip width 6 3/4", inner star tip to tip width 4", total height including base 8", depth of front star piece 3/4", total depth 1 1/4".

Exactly what our Christmas tree needed. Looks great. However, it is only one sided, so depending on how your Christmas tree is positioned it may not look right for everyone. It also seems cheaply made, but can't complain since it was very affordable.

Cheap junk. The front has visible screw heads (oooh... Philips head!), which is unbelievable. The coil to go over the top tree branch is way too short, so the star keeps tipping over. The back is open, with just a thin plastic film over the wiring, but not large enough to cover the wires to hide them. A major black mark for Amazon for selling such shoddy merchandise, and makes me question online shopping in general. This one is a bad one - and a slightly nicer one can be had at my local dollar store for $5 cheaper.
