The clothes valet is more suitable for a child than an adult. I did get a tape measure out before I bought it, but the product in real life is insubstantial. I did a comprehensive on-line search for a clothes valet before I bought this one. Good clothes valets are not easily found in today's market. This one gets the job done, but I am underwhelmed.

I want to love it, but it can be a little wobbly and came pretty scratched. It serves it's purpose though. My partner was always complaining about how I dump my clothes and towels on the floor, so I bought this to add a little class to the bedroom. I still drop clothes and towels on the floor, but now it's less clothes and you can see more of my floor.
