Wonderful bag, but it is quite large
Denise✓ Verified Purchase•December 1, 2017
Wonderful bag, but it is quite large. I thought it would be my everyday bag, but instead it will be better for those times when I need to take several lens, or perhaps for weekend trips. The bag is quality and very well made.
Great product but know what you're getting into.

Excellent materials, excellent build quality. I bought a floor model so the finish had a few marks on it here or there but I think it adds to the look. I can't wait to see how the bag breaks in. I'm tall so the bag fits me very well, as others have mentioned the strap might be too long for shorter people. The bag is also very heavy once loaded up with my DSLR and laptop and some other items. Not ideal for long hikes or walking trips while loaded up but is comfortable for my daily commute or to and from a photo shoot. The side pockets are a little difficult to get into and I don't imagine using them much. The front pockets are sized nicely for a small notebook or thin items to grab quickly. Some people have mentioned how huge this bag is but I found it just right. I don't think people that need a bunch of pockets with zippers and compartments would be happy with this bag, but I love it. Classy and functional.
SUPERB! Don't think twice, just get it - seriously, if you have the money buy it and don't look back

My wife and I both have Canon 80D's and were looking for a bag that could carry our gear when we went sightseeing. Our goal was to have a bag that included our camera bodies (when we weren't actively shooting), a couple of lenses, and spare batteries. I consider myself a very thorough researcher--spending hours and hours agonizing over various options and brands, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, etc--and then I decided to take the plunge on the Brixton.
Well in the couple of months of owning it, I've brought it along for two trips to DC, had a photo safari around town and at a zoo in Kansas City...as well as sight seeing so I finally feel ready to post my review.
In short, my expectations have been BLOWN AWAY!
This is an absolutely AMAZING BAG with a fantastic interior that is lined with really soft cloth type material, super spacious--plenty of room for our 2 Canon 80Ds with a couple of prime lenses and a telephoto zoom--as well as my 13" MacBook Air! Love the leather--VERY VERY high quality and thick/wonderful smell. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the front and side pockets but OMG they make it even more flexible and useful because I can store my iPhone, headphones, cords & chargers for phone and computer--as well as 2 canon chargers and 3 extra batteries.
Does it get heavy with all the stuff? Why yes it does--especially when it is fully loaded up for airline travel and used as a carry on (see above for what I include). When worn with the cross strap, the bag molds a bit around my hip--even loaded up and it distributes the weight very nicely and doesn't bang around or get wonky as I walk. It also fits nicely under airline seats of Southwest & American Airlines coach class seats so you have easy access to your gear.
After I get to the hotel room, we can reconfigure the inside quickly, include only the camera essentials and head out for a day of sightseeing. When our cameras are out and the bag only has our with lenses and batteries, it feels like it isn't even there (well comparatively).
The top flap is great at keeping out the elements--as well as discretely hides the gear within. The straps are adjustable and clasps work very nicely--the push button mechanism to open them is discretely hidden unless the straps are fully extended.
Needless to say, it is not a small bag--when worn, it looks like a VERY discreet messenger bag--especially without any visible logos. I'm 5'6 and solidly built and it feels like a great fit for me/my personality.

High Quality Madness

After a month of using my Ona to tote my Xpro2 and Sigma monsters along with my daily blogging kit i can say its definitely worth almost 500 dollars. Its well made distresses nicely... almost too nicely. Just kidding its great. The bag feels small at first but once the leather breaks in it is fantastic to cart around gear and stylishly at that. Ps use some doc martin beeswax polish on this nag it makes it water resistant and invreases the durability of the leather !
Good bag with solid leather

Good bag with solid leather, great strap, and amazing adjustable internals. The shortcomings with this bag mainly surround the cost and leather quality. Though the leather is indeed very good it doesn't reflect nor warrant the price being charged in my humble opinion. There are other leather options from actual leathersmiths that can offer you products that in my opinion are high quality leather for the same amount of money. As a camera bag this bag's ergonomics are very strong, but as a bag to carry a laptop it does fall a bit short.
