I use these as a fine filter in my pool skimmer basket to trap small leaves, insects and other debris. They last two weeks or so, and keep a lot of debris from making into the pool pump.

I use the hair nets in the strainer in my pool. It strains the smallest particles out of the water before it gets to the pump so I do not have to back flush so often. The net must be changed at least twice a day. (depending on the debris in the pool) I have also only had to use half the chemicals I normally use by this time of year. At this rate I will not have to purchase any for next year.

Always buy 3M products unfortunately these are imported from China. They work effectively for pool skimmer filters and will save you a lot of trouble cleaning filters. The price is right and the quality is there.

I use these as pool skimmer socks to filter out smaller stuff before it reaches the sand filter. They work great and are much cheaper than the pool specific skimmer socks. Sometimes I double them up if there is a lot of pollen or particulates.
