Great OEM part that works as it should
Benchtest•September 28, 2017
Perfect fit for my Andersen slider. A bit pricey for what it is, but it's factory original, fits, functions, and installs with NO hassle. Should I ever need to replace it again (first one got 17 years of regular use), I will buy this product.
Easy install, works fine

I dont like the plastic piece that sticks out as well as the old style but it did go in very easy and is working great. Seems well built.

I have a mid 1990s Anderson PS200 Slider that I installed myself. The lock was worn so I decided to replace it after getting proper part number from Andersen, Parts arrived promptly and correctly from Amazon supplier. The latch on the door fit perfectly along withe co-ordered turn lever. ON the jamb side, though, the issue was that, in order to line up the latch "button" with the "target" on the jamb piece, I had to file the adjustment slots about an 1/8 inch longer so the two pieces lines up (used a chain saw file) . The instructions ( very detailed) called for enlarging the jamb mortise ( for pre 2002 doors) with a 3/4 inch spade bit. That , however would not have worked for me because lowering the unit any further would not have allowed the use of the two machine screw (8-32) inserts in the jamb. I also recommend you use a thread anti-seize on the threads of the adjustment screw for the latch receiver. My old one had frozen up completely. Also make sure you are shimmed per the instructions before driving the 3 inch jamb security screw.
Perfect!

Easy to install and fit perfectly. Made much better than the lock set that came with the original doors (2004 model of the Andersen slider).
