but lighter batteries with double (at least) capacity are really nice.

If you have the old 18V batteries, you need to replace them with new LiPo batteries -- it is a tool power upgrade as well as capacity. Charger just works, but lighter batteries with double (at least) capacity are really nice.

The charger that came with my kit died so I scrambled to find this unit. I like this one MUCH better. It's a smaller footprint and not obnoxiously bright green. My old one was huge.
