Excellent quality construction, bright light, dimmable, easy and fast installation

Purchased 4 of these to replace hard-wired, halogen under-cabinet lights. The unit is very well made and the kit includes what you need to either hardwire, or use the alternative cord with standard wall plug and in-line switch. These were very easy to install, and I liked having the junction box to separate the task of mounting the light from wiring. The cover plate on the junction box did not have clearance holes for the mounting screws, but it was trivial to drill thru prior to drilling pilot holes in the cabinets. After putting up the first one, it took ~15 minutes per light - far less time than I expected!
The intensity and color of the light is outstanding, and very close to incandescent lights (not blue like some other LEDs, or white like halogens...) Using a Lutron CFL/LED dimmer, they have an excellent dimming range. Smooth transition, with no buzz.
I highly recommend these lights!
One thing I would like to see if a frosted lens option. These lights are bright, and while the light is diffused nicely under the cabinets, the LEDs reflection in our granite counter top is very noticeable and points of light...

Great lights but some hard wiring complications

Replaced 26 year old fluorescent undercabinet lights with these ( two 18 inch and three 12 inch) and I am well pleased with the result. They are brighter and more like an incandescent light than the old ones. They are also much narrower than the old lights which allowed me to put one above an appliance garage where there was no light before. Very nice effect. They connect together nicely. Only reason for 4 stars is I had some hard wiring complications. I used the old lights hard wire feeds which were controlled by a single switchover. Because they were wired in parallel, there were 2 sets of 14 gauge plus 2 grounds feeding each light. I found this combination too large to fit the predrilled holes in the hardwire box (plastic) furnished with the light. I could have bought larger boxes but I opted to enlarge the holes in the furnished boxes with a drill press. I suspect it would have been nearly impossible to do with a hand held drill but I guess it could be done by hand reaming. I used the wire clamps from the old lights. While the installation was more complicated than I was expecting, I am well pleased with the result. One additional point is that the led lights reflect off of our polished granite counter lights as specific points of light which are very noticeable. I never really noticed this with the old lights because the light was spread over the length of the fluorescent bulb. Not an issue for us but something to consider.
Finally found the perfect under the cabinet lightening!

Easy to install. Attractive. Perfect. What more could you want?! Seriously, I looked for a couple of months to find what I wanted. My search was painstaking! Either I liked a fixture but hated the color of the light, or loved the hue of light and the fixture was all wrong. This is perfect. You can hardwire OR plug in to an outlet. They plug end-to-end and have different wire lengths to get your lights where they need to be. I bought these for under the kitchen cabinets to enhance the look of my kitchen and brighten up my work stations. I've been using them for months now without any glitches or problems. I'm beyond happy with these and would undeniably choose these again!
Inexpensive LED fixtures

I'm very pleased with these LED light fixtures. They are about 1/2 to 2/3 the price of the WAC fixtures they replace. Before ordering there are two things to consider. #1: Because the electrical connection to the fixture is at either end, you should allow at least two inches for the (supplied) cable adapter under the counter. If you have a 24 inch space below your cabinet you will not have enough room for a 24 inch fixture. Order a smaller size. The same holds true for connecting fixtures in line using the supplied wiring. #2: The plastic/ glass lens covering over the LEDs is clear. It does not diffuse light. So, as you look down on the granite/ stone directly below your fixture you will see the individual LED reflections. The counter surface is bathed in consistent light and the 3000 temperature/ color is perfect but if you look down on the counter you can see the individual LEDs. Looking from a "normal" viewing angle you don't see the individual LED reflection. The fixtures are well made with clean lines and a smooth paint job.
The fixtures are made of plastic. I would have preferred metal but they appear to be well made. The WAC halogen/ xenon units I replaced were built like tanks.

Great Value

I recently purchased nine of these lights to replace old under cabinet lighting and had my electrician install them. Fairly easy install that I overpaid for! He did have to splice the wires in one of the junction boxes in order to go in both directions from where it was hard wired so I did need a professional - they way these are set up, you can only link lights going in one direction if you go light to light, so he had to wire two separate lights coming from one junction box.
The lights are wonderful for the price and I would recommend.
They seem to be as good or better than anything you will get from the big box HW stores and much cheaper than your high end stores/contractors (2/3rds cheaper). They also work well with Dimmers made for LEDs. I looked at many different solutions including tape LEDs but direct wire with transformers built in were by far the easiest solution for my kitchen. I've seen the high end LED lights on display at kitchen showrooms and there is no difference that I can tell. Only time will tell if these are real quality.
Concerns:
- proprietary connectors have me concerned that when one burns out, you could have a hard time finding a replacement (this is the only reason I didn't give five stars). I just ordered 3 extra lights of various sizes as replacements for down the road or in case there are quality issues. I know that is overkill but once installed, its very simple to just replace a light - plug and play with their adapters.
- The light output on a couple of units seems a bit brighter which makes the light look a bit uneven when on full brightness. This is corrected somewhat when I dim the lights and you can't notice. You will never have these on full bright at night but I do run them on full during the day because I have a dark kitchen.
TIP: Place these these towards the front (or front lip) vs. the rear of your cabinet to cut down the angles for glare if you have granite.
Net/Net: All-in-All, even with buying extra lights in case any ever burn out, this was over 50% cheaper than the WAC under cabinet lighting quoted to me by a lighting store. A 24" WAC light retails for over $200 in this store and for $190 online at any of your online retailors. This is vs. $64.40 for a 24" light on Amazon Prime. Save yourself some $$ and order these. I can't tell the difference.
