like with the ballerina

I was looking for a musical jewelry box... like with the ballerina... for my granddaughter...but they were all just way too small... came across this one...and it is big enough to lay out your jewelry with out folding it up... and it has a key to lock your precious things up... and Purple...so I got this one..the size is great... well made....no not wood but solid.... and if handled properly will last a nice long time.... she was thrilled with it...as she called it a big girls jewelry box...and went about sorting all her stuff in too in and has plenty of room left... it is a good buy and I think most little girls will like it... way better than 6 inch by 5 inches.... I do miss the music box... but perhaps I will find just a nice music box... for another occasion.

This was much better than I even expected. The color is as pictured and it is a rich suede like material. It is large enough to use for a lot of jewelry but small enough to travel with in your luggage if you want. In the photos, I used a dollar bill for scale.
Seems substantial enough. Organizes things well.

For now, I'm giving a good review. Before buying, I read the comments. I've not found this to be the least bit unsubstantial as other reviewers have noted. But hey, what did they expect for $14-ish? Anyway, it's exactly what it says it is. It holds things neatly and organizes my jewelry. My only complaint is the color. It isn't really a rich color as shown. It's kind of a dark lavender and might work better for a little girl's jewelry box but hey, I keep it in a safe / closet anyway so no worries.

This case is perfect for my needs! It fits all my jewelry and I love the organization. The material is very smooth and it doesn't look cheap at all. I just wish it had a handle, but besides that I'm a happy customer!

I was pleasantly surprise when this box arrived. I thought this jewelry box was going to be small, but this box is large and of excellent quality. I'm so happy with this purchase!! I recommend this jewelry box and this seller to everybody. So in conclusion:
- The color of this jewelry box is just as seen in the photo in the product description
- It has an excellent size, so I will be able to put all my jewelry
- The price is extremely good
- The quality is superb
- The box is soft and velvety, so your expensive jewelry will be safe
- Oh, just in case, the key of the jewelry box is inside the top pocket (the one under the part where you can hang your necklaces)
I have posted with this review some pictures I took of this beautiful box, when it was inside the package, out, and with a bottle of water of 16.9 oz for comparison.
