I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to review this cornmeal because I made some of the best cornbread I've ever had with it. Reminds me of the cornbread I had as a child that my uncle from South Carolina made. Excellent product. I highly recommend it.

This is a very good product. My fewer than 5 stars rating is due to my personal preference for a slightly coarser ground cornmeal. This is more like corn flour.

The best cornmeal for cornbread. I make it with this cornmeal, a little baking soda & baking powder, a little butter & maple syrup, and 2 eggs and it comes out great. The texture is fine, not grainy, and the flavor is "cornful."

Great product, very finely ground. We made cornbread and the taste was nice- but not at all gritty like more traditional cornbread we are use to consuming. It did make a stellar cornbread that had an almost tender cake texture that was perfect for jam as a dessert- almost like a scone! So good product but not the best for a more course type bread product.

Hard to find white cornmeal of a good quality out here in AZ, so thanks, Palmetto Farms for a great product and reasonable shipping! This meal is a great grind, perfect for my cornbread (I grew up using white cornmeal for everything.), and is priced so reasonably. I had used PF products before when we lived in NC and would purchase when traveling through SC.; thanks to Amazon, we'll never be without cornmeal.
