We have 8 of these in service at a Fire Department for emergency response use. We also have two of the bump/calibration stations. They have been nearly trouble free. In two years, we have had one sensor fail, which was replaced under warranty. They are very accurate, durable, and start up quickly. Replacement sensors are inexpensive, available here or on-line and are easy to replace. We have other monitors which cost 4X as much, and they cause us far more problems. The bump/cal stations make upkeep simple, and pay for themselves by using so much less calibration gas. We also purchased the rubber boots which were well worth the cost. Cost here on Amazon is only a few dollars more than we got after competitive bids for multiple units.
Sniffs out the bad stuff

Bought these for work, to perform work in confined spaces. So far, they work perfect. We have them tested and calibrated often, and always hope that it will never have to go off, but it is nice knowing that something is keeping an eye out for ya.
