1 & 1/2 months use, about 2-3 times a week, and scourer detached from handle. Could get replacements at $4.99 a pair, which at the same rate of use and breakage, would mean the actual cost could be 20.00 a year. Going to replace with a metal brush for my cast iron pans. I can't recommend this product.

These work perfectly to clean out a steel wok. It's simple.... as soon as you're finished serving the food from the wok, put it back on the high flame. When it is up to frying heat, pour a cup of water into it and get to scouring. It comes off easily while it is hot and the long handle keeps your hand out of the scalding steam. Don't use soap or you'll ruin the seasoning you've worked hard to build up. Rinse it out with clean water and set it once again on the flame to dry. Once dry, use a small amount of cooking oil on a paper towel to oil your wok and keep it safe until your next use.

This is a nice product. Very sturdy and well made. I generally like it, but wish the head was smaller. I have another brand that is similar, and the head is smaller, and easier to use on most dishes. This one is too large for some uses. But it does a good job on big items, so I am overall happy with it.
