It was difficult to find a low sodium gluten-free broth base in local stores. Most seemed to be be just salt and sugar. I looked at Amazon and tried this one based on reviews. The reviews were right: the base meets all my requirements and is also pleasant tasting. It makes a fine start to soups or by itself as a warm up in the afternoon.

Very nice mild, unsalty vegetable flavor. I usually add some Potassium Chloride (salt substitute for high blood pressure) to my soups and stews when I use this.
