The most versatile, stylish and precise shaver/trimmer out there
Denny Fanelli•February 23, 2018
This will be a long review...
This shaver has got to be the best one I've ever had. That doesn't mean it's the best one out there, but for the price it sure is. I will do some pros and cons and some comparisons along the way.
Pros:
Cutter head switching- you can switch from the rotating blades to the trimmer in like 2 seconds. Missed a spot? Change the heads again!
Adjustable height on trimmer- personally I use the lowest setting on it to achieve the stubble beard look and close shave everything else. Can also take the height adjuster off to trim your sideburns or whatnot.
Body shaver- I've never used it yet, but I bet it's a breeze to shave away arm chest and other hair away. I'm super hairy so I don't think it could handle so much hair but I might try.
Shave while you shower- all three heads can be used to wet shave too! I'm blind as a bat and live with a lot of people so I couldn't see what I'm doing or take too long showering to do this but it's there!
Cons:
No case- wish it came with a case but it doesn't. There seems to not be one big and appropriate enough anywhere except for one that I happened to find and buy: Co2Crea

Can't use while charging- Most recent shavers have gone towards this trend, so not much of a unique con with this shaver
~I had the norelco one blade before this and that piece of s*** sucks. Didn't close shave very well, made a mess, had to replace blades every 4 months, all around terrible. Before that had a 3 round blade shaver with trimmer but couldn't style my beard with it.

Love this shaver for everyday trimming without having to razor shave!

I'm a hairy dude with super sensitive skin under my chin that does NOT like being shaved with a razor. I just bought this model again - my last one lasted about 2 years and the battery just wore out and would barely hold enough charge for a shave, but it was worth just buying another. I have a full beard. I use the trimmer attachment to just trim hair tight to skin under my beard/chin and trim my mustache, and use the twin heads to shave my cheeks, which aren't sensitive to razor burn. The trimmer attachment gets the hair under my chin pretty tight so I look well groomed. It has rounded teeth so it doesn't cut into my skin. Also does a great job trimming my mustache and keeping those hairs under control. The dual head shaver gets nice and tight on my cheeks. I don't use this to trim my bear to length, I use a heavier duty pair of clippers for that. This does a super job at just taking care of that daily trim/shave. I've tried a couple other Box-Store specials when I've been traveling and forgot this, but nothing compares. Great product!

I got some mixed feelings about this product. As a shaver, I would not recomend it. This is my first electric shave but is not what I spect before i buy it. But as a groomer I think is great, Not person with much hair but when i need it works great. Even the shaver when is used with foam and wet gives a very good shave but it takes tooo long, so is not faster than regular shaves. I never read that shaving with an electrical will be slower than regular blades.
Another thing for the shaver, it cuts teh hair straight not in angle so first times hair can get blocked in your skind. also the shave last shorter for this reason i think.
I don't think I will buy a new electric shave ever so will see how long this blades last then but those 5 blades Gillete.

Good for faces... great for legs!

We bought this for my husband since he hates shaving but can't grow a very good beard, and he is very pleased with it. He mostly just uses the facial hair trimmer to get a decently close trim. When I decided to try it on my legs--it became a game changer for me, too! Whether I'm using the trimmer after letting things go a little too long over the winter or the actually spinning razor attachment, this thing is so great on my sensitive skin. I hated shaving before this because I'd get razor burn and ingrown hairs--I even preferred epilating over traditional razor blades. Thank goodness hubs doesn't mind sharing!
Philips Norelco does not honor warranty
Michael•December 21, 2015
Battery lasts less than 1 year before needing to be replaced. Norelco warranty support is useless and refuses to accept Amazon invoice as valid. Never buy Norelco or Philips if you expect the warranty to be honored. Complaints are ignored and pawned off on Amazon.
