It has a great rustic look, lots of room, and a lot of pockets.

I love this backpack! From the second I took it out of the nice packaging, to the moment I started filling it with my things. It has a great rustic look, lots of room, and a lot of pockets. I can put my books and laptop in the main compartment, and my charger and stylus pen in the pouch inside the bag. There are plenty of pockets and room.
I'd say my only complaint is the laptop and books are sort of tossed in together while other bags may be split into two main compartments when you open it up. Also come of the buckles snap off with a button? I'm afraid of losing those. Otherwise, those are minor complaints and I love the bag.
I may update down the road to see how durable this baby is. I'll be traveling around with it.

Love this thing. The simplicity and durability of it really appeals to my taste. The bag seems fairly durable and is VERY spacious on the inside without seeming like a massive backpack.
One thing that may take a little getting used to is the lack of structure of the bag. This was my first rucksack so I have nothing to compare it to, but the best way to describe it is that it's essentially a loose canvas sack with backpack straps attached to it and a couple of pockets on the sides.
I do not regret my decision at all. It's served me well so far and will continue to serve me for a while.
PROS:
- durable
-spacious
-looks great
-minimalistic
CONS:
-no structure to bag, so the empty bag feels a bit like a super-thick pillow case

Smaller than it appears. The bag is nice. The canvas that it is made from seems a bit on the thin side. Nothing like my old canvas bag that to this day is STILL stiff and tough. If you are buying this because you want strong, stiff canvas, you will be disappointed. I was. So I have decided this is not good for me and will return it.
Also, I just can't get past the "snaps". Why bother putting a buckle there when it is just for looks. I would much rather have the buckle than a snap. Some of us buy these bags because we want durability due to the abuse we put them through. If you are like me, and use this for it's intended purpose and protection, you will once again be disappointed.

Yay!!!! I just received it and have only been using it for about 8 hours, but so far I love it. It is bigger than I thought it was going to be, but that is perfectly fine with me. The color is just like in the picture. It feels amazing. It's not too stiff and the weight of the canvas feels very sturdy. Just enough pockets for all my stuff and the straps are amazingly comfortable. My wife loves it too. I'm so excited about this. I'll try to update it after I put it through some more paces, but so far it's great. I am planning on waterproofing it and I've got a nifty little Wonder Woman patch that I think will look great on this bag.
I saw some people complain about the lack of form for this bag and, while I understand what they are saying, I didn't expect or want this bag to have a lot of rigidity to it. To me, it looks perfect. So excited to use it and really break it in nicely. Update to follow...hopefully!
UPDATE: It's been 3 months and I love this bag. It has held up very very well so far. No issues with stitching or snaps. The lack of structure did take a bit of getting used to after my previous pack, but it has not been a hindrance at all. I can fit my 32 oz cup in either the side pocket or the main compartment. My biggest "load" so far was my lunch bag, gym clothes, shoes, 13" laptop, all power cords, 32 oz cup in side pocket, and various other things. It was heavy, but that was my fault. The straps are comfortable and adjust well for me. I love the front compartment and when it's not loaded down it's squishy enough to fit in a drawer at work or the tiny compartment they call my locker. It's been to the gym, work, playdates with kids, outside, inside, dropped, smooshed, and slug around. It's a great bag so far. Haven't waterproofed it yet, but I figure I'll get to that soon. Wonderful product!

really no complaints, I wish the pack had a buckle system that while wearing it a belt and buckle could be brought around your chest and buckled rite in front of you to keep it tight if leaning over or on difficult terrain. Other thing I was expecting and it didn't have was two seaperated compartments in the main body of the bag, That would be nice to keep maybe books in one section and say maybe a laptop in the other compartment. All in all I like the bag, all I need to do now is sew patches of favorite music groups on the bag to give it that "look" ha ha
