Works perfectly, I'm learning Russian at university and needed this keyboard cover to help me type with my MacBook. It fits very well-better than other silicone covers I have had for my keyboard in the past. I wish it came in more colours but that's not really an issue more of a suggestion. It's also really helpful because it is the standard Russian keyboard layout and not the phonetic one which helps me a little better. On top of it's linguistic uses it does keep the keyboard safe and protected.

I bought this product about 3 years ago. I have just lost it during my last trip and I'm here to buy a new one so I thought it would be fair to drop my review before continuing my shopping. For the past years, I've been using this skin regularly to carry out my translation work. I'm on an AZERTY keyboard and sometimes I use a Windows virtual machine on my MacBook, and that hasn't been a problem at all (I use Parallels keyboard when I'm on Windows). I can't say I'm keeping it on all the time, as I still prefer to work directly on the laptop's keyboard but when it's on, it is very convenient, you can almost forget it's not the laptop's original keyboard and all letters match perfectly. It is also easy to clean and protects the keyboard from dust and stain. Bottom line, I highly recommend this product.

This is a well made product. From a couple of feet away, it hard to see that there's a cover draped over the keys. The printing is crisp and uses a sans-serif font similar to what Apple uses on the actual keys. The Apple specific icons on F1 through F12 are reproduced, and kuzy has added the weird symbol Apple uses for the alt/option (⌥).
However, there is still a little bit of "play" between the membrane of the keyboard cover and the underlying keyboard, and the keyboard cover doesn't always lie perfectly flat -- this "play" makes typing a little more difficult, and will probably slow you down. If you're buying this, you probably don't have the alternate language keys memorized, so its not likely to going to slow you down very much.
I've noticed the same problem is present with other keyboard covers, so on an absolute scale, I'd rate this four stars;
but compared to other keyboard covers, I'm rating this as five stars.

I got this for my macbook pro with retina display-13" (late 2013). It fits perfectly like a glove (not OJ's gloves though-lol). The matching keyboard in the mac is the "Arabic-North Africa". The backlit also works great, although not like the originals, but this is due to the way the letters need to constructed since they could not be made transparent. I would love to see a sticker and a desktop versions. Overall, excellent quality and highly recommend it.

Macbook pro user: After finding a way to switch my english keyboard into Ukrainian, I noticed that I failed to realize that I had no idea where the Ukrainian letters would be located. Buying this silicon based keyboard cover for my mac was perfect! Although it is true that you cannot type as fast with this cover, this is a much better solution to placing stickers onto your keyboard letters or evening replacing your keyboard letters in general! I was initially worried that buying the Russian edition would pose problems, but it works very well with my Mac's Ukrainian keyboard. I also really like that this cover keyboard has larger Russian letters and smaller english letters, as a reference as to the placement of your fingers to the keyboard. Given that the cover letters do not have the tiny openings that my mac keyboard have, you cannot use the backlight with the cover. I found no imperfections with my cover and I am glad I bought this brand. 4/5 stars because I would have liked for the cover to have the tiny holes so that the backlight could be used.
