Gutter cleaner works fine!
Bob Ski✓ Verified Purchase•July 6, 2023
I used the gutter cleaner nozzle to clean out my "leafless gutters" Although the gutters do no collect leaves they have collected the fine sand like sediment from the roof shingles. I kept the nozzle from flipping in circles by using a small piece of tape on the male quick connect. That kept the nozzle from spinning. I knew I would get wet & dirty since I had to get close to or underneath the gutter I was cleaning. The gutter cleaner worked quite well and I've loaned the gutter cleaner to my neighbor. He saw how it worked for me and it worked fine on his open top gutters.
I have a craftsman power washer name plated at 2700 psi & 2.3 gpm. I first used the soap dispensing spray nozzle to get use to the gutter cleaner then switched to a 60 degree spay nozzle intended for windows & screens. The cleaning effect was more than sufficient.

I started out using this without goggles or mask on. My gutters were really dirty with a lot of roof grit/sand in it. I put on saftey goggles and a mask to keep debris out of my eyes and mouth, much better but still got really dirty.
I had to learn how to control it and get stuff moving. Due to the heavy sand like debris I found I had to start at the downspout and work away from it to keep stuff moving and flowing. Once I got the hang of it wasn't too bad but ad to keep working away from the downspout about 3 feet at a time and then"sweep" the debris to the downspout. When I finished I had about 2+ gallons of gunk that was washed out and piled up at the end of the 1st section I did.
It is a workout for the arms as there is a lot of side thrust. Overall it does a good job.

Safely cleaning gutters

I purchased the Be pressure gutter cleaning attachment along with M mingle pressure washer wand extension 7.5 feet to clean my and my mothe4r in laws gutters. I was able to clean the gutters without getting on a ladder! I used a ladder to check out how well it cleaned and found the gutters very clean. I have an electric power washer with several tip and the revolving tip worked the best. The attachment with the curved neck also made cleaning the downspouts easier to clean. The pressure was large enough to blow out leaves and small twigs. It cut my cleaning time to 70% of what it usually took.
HERE'S HOW TO STOP THE SPIN! Then it's perfect!

This item it's great! There are obvious pros and cons to using it if you think about it before you purchase it. So to me they are not worth complaining about. The biggest pro is you can clean your gutters from the ground however it is obvious that if you are on the ground spraying anything in your gutter with a high PSI it will likely land on you so to me this is not a complaint worth mentioning. It's just something that's going to happen. If you hate it get your butt on the roof and don't buy this.
This item is stellar because it does the job. Now there have been a lots of bad reviews because it spins a lot due to it being a quick connect item. It is also true that it will spin only prior to you shooting water pressure through it but understandably it's difficult to keep it in one position while in the gutter if this thing keeps spinning. So here's how you modify it!! Go to your local hardware store and purchase O-rings and use a size 8.8 X 1.9 mm O-ring (or whatever does the trick) this will give it just enough friction to stop it from rotating wildly (it does not lock it in place and there is still a lil spin) but as I said once you have it set in the position you want when you turn on the pressure washer and use it it doesn't move anyway. Hope this helps. Everyone should be giving this 4 or 5 stars it does what it supposed to do. Im not taking off a star because of an O-ring.
I also solve the downward force problem as well I use a attachment at 90° which makes the spray tip shoot to the left or the right instead of straight down. It's spins too so I put a Grommet I cut in half on it (pictured). This mod reduces a little bit the force of the extended wand shooting back toward you. However it is still going to do that so just prepare yourselves and stop complaining about physics people.
If you want easy hire someone else to clean your gutters! 😜
