Good staining prep

Used this to prep "kiln dried after treatment" porch planks before staining. Really cut through the lumberyard grime with minimal scrubbing. The manufacturer's marks and other ink stamps took a little more effort but cleaned up nicely. Used DEFY Wood Brightener and Extreme Stain after cleaning, very satisfied with the results.
Use a power washer, will stain any composite or pvc decking it comes in contact with.

I applied to a Tigerwood deck with 2 years of graying. It took two applications and a ton of work with a brush to get what amounted to only a portion of the built-up mildew off. I still had to resort to a power washer to remove the remaining grey.
**BEWARE - this product will stain any PVC or Composite Decking it comes in contact with. DO NOT USE THIS on or near Composite or PVC decking. My Tigerwood deck is picture framed with grey Azek. The Azek now has white-ish stains throughout. Almost ruined, but not quite.
Moral of the story - use a power washer.

under normal circumstances I am sure this works well. I had used sikkens transparent (oil base) stain on my house which I have found is not removable unless I strip the entire house or media blast it
Great job removing years of algae and grunge

This did a great job removing years of algae and grunge on a 30 year old deck. Takes a bit of work (scrubbing involved) but it is worth it. The wood looked near new when done. There was no damage to plants but I was careful to keep rinsing them. I followed the instructions exactly doing small sections at a time. This takes a while but it is worth it. I noticed that using a warm solution works better so I would suggest mixing this in small batches to keep it warm.
Works if you soak and scrub.

It help me to completely get rid of the ground in dirt and made it look like I just bought the boards, however be prepared to scrub. No magic in this product. Keep the deck wet until all the dirt is gone.
