I use this behind my beds mattress to avoid the stress on the outlet. Works great so I bought multiple. Pay attention to the direction the cable angles as all of my outlets are "upside down" and this points toward my ceiling (which is what I wanted so it'd be a straight shot toward the night stand).
The Angle can be a Necessity!

I bought this to plug something in behind my file cabinet. It allows me to push my file cabinet closer to the wall. I found out the hard way that the angle is a necessity if you need to plug in two low-profile plugs into a dual outlet, because they require more surface space.

I recently had to replace my washing machine and microwave. Since when have appliance plugs changed? The plug themselves are quite long and with the heavy duty power cord, there is a huge gap you can't maneuver. I couldn't close the laundry closet door, and my counter top microwave was less than 2 inches from the edge of the counter.
Enter the low profile cable! These worked perfectly. They're sturdy enough for use with these major appliances and I appreciate that the cords are short.

Great. Have a cool wifi controlled power strip but the plug, even though it points down, is bulky, this allowed me to push the shelf flush against the wall, and now the power strip fits under the shelf. I have a feeling I'll be buying more of these in the future. For all those times a piece of furniture had to be an inch or three from the wall, this would have been great. Glad I found this.

awesome! these are very good quality and save a lot of space. you can move furniture a solid 2"-2.5" closer to the wall with these over a straight cord power strip/surge protector/cord depending on how stiff the cords are. really no complaints at all, i cant think of any way to make these any better than they are.
