great product, amazing customer service
BelleSanteBeauty•January 27, 2017
Five star experience. I bought this product a few weeks ago. I make organic, preservative free beauty products and often use beeswax. The first time I used these pellets they were lovely, the color and texture and overall quality was so nice and the lotion and body cream I make tuned out great. I used them up quickly so I ordered again. I was suuuuper disappointed when I received my package and it was a one pound block, not the pellets as I had ordered. I went back online and discovered that this product was nonreturnable through amazon. So I sent amazon an email asking how to return or get refunded or at least get the product I ordered. I make small batches and really don't want to be hacking off chunks of wax when I need to scoop like, 1/4 cup at a time, plus the pellets melt in the other oils quicker... etc. This was Saturday night. Within a couple hours I had an email from amazon telling me they had refunded my purchase. No questions asked. I wasn't asked to go through the hassle of mailing back the product or anything. So I don't know if it is the seller, or Amazon but the customer service I got was amazing. Of course I went right back and ordered the same thing again... I really hope I get the pellets and not a block again but I can say I am nothing short of impressed. The quality of the product is exceptional, and the customer service I got through amazon, even though I was unable to return the product, was very impressive. I am really picky about the ingredients I put in my beauty products. I use them on myself and my baby, and I sell them to people who care a lot about what they put on their skin. I am so crazy busy I rarely take the time to write reviews but here I am in the middle of the night taking a break to rave about my experience with the product and the customer service I received. I will definitely continue to purchase this product.
Smells like real beeswax
Deb•October 20, 2016
Based on the reviews I read on these Your Natural Planet Beeswax pellets, I did the following when I received them. I weighed the bag. 16.25 Oz. So yep, got my full pound of pellets. Tore open the bag and checked the ability to reseal it. No problem there. Actually, as of now, I have opened and closed it multiple times. And right as I opened the bag for the first time, when the aroma would be strong, I took a big whiff. Smells like real beeswax, not like over processed bleached wax, but real beeswax like what I get from local beekeepers. I made a few lotion bars with some of it, and I am very pleased with the final product. Definitely on my reorder from here list.
I agree with all of the feedback about this smelling like a goat in rut

I have to say, I agree with all of the feedback about this smelling like a goat in rut. I've purchased beeswax before and it usually smells lightly of honey but this is very musky and offensive smelling. I ended up having to use some of it for my foot balm sticks and had to add a ton of essential oils to 'almost' cover it up, but it's for feet. But I definitely won't be ordering this brand again.
Best deal for the price!

The aroma is a little strong, but it isn't a chemical aroma. 95% of all beeswax will have a smoky aroma to varying degrees, some is stronger than others. If your beeswax has absolutely no aroma, I would question whether or not it is really pure beeswax as some companies cut in paraffin. Since beeswax absorbs the aromas that are around it over time, I place a vanilla bean in the bag. You can reuse the vanilla bean over and over. Other than the aroma, it is clear golden yellow the way a pure beeswax should be. There is no debris in it. I have made several lip balms with this, and I am very pleased with the finished product.
Oops, wrong labeling and wrong weight. Watch out.

I received the package with "Organic yellow pellets" label.
I started making a candle with this and when I went back to the product page from my past order link, the different picture came up on the profile and I could not find "organic" notation in the description.
I guess the manufacture took down organic labeling suddenly, though it said so when I purchased this product.
ALSO, after reading through other reviews about wrong weight issue, I scaled its weight and dido! It was only 13.7Oz. it is labeled as "16 oz "
This should not be happening since I feel like it is close to scamming.
I cannot trust this seller so I won't return it to get another one (because I cannot trust what is in the wax either) nor purchase anymore.
