My old Volvo had a beige interior, I just used tape to mask stuff off instead of removing, did the headliner, dashboard, carpet, seats, used probably 6 cans for the seats I'd say use a little more because mine are more of a velour grey color since I didn't feel like getting 2 more cans, but like get a bunch, under 100 bucks to not have to look at beige. Let your inner goth kid out with this stuff because this will have your dash looking B L A C K. Fun project and very effective. Get an ozone bomb and use that then leave your windows down overnight for a day or 2 and it will be not paint smelly anymore

You can't even tell that our boat cushions were painted; they look brand new! We used more paint than expected because we went over a darker blue with white. Very pleased with the result!

It's alright it's just it's not the right color I picked. Bummer!!!!

For many seat die restoration products, even today, a lot of them are water based. You can often always get a color match (custom) in these water based products, whereas you can only get the colors that the rattle can folks decide to make for things like SEM and Dupli-Color fabric / vinyl / leather fabric colorants. The water based product adhere well, are available in nearly all colors, but they have the problem of not being as color fast in the presence of a sweaty body. The solution is this product, clear coat fabric colorant. It is available in flat or gloss, pick yours to your taste and existing finish. I like this as a final coat over the colorants, to seal those in after they have fully dried (for a day or two), and then spray this product on. It makes the final solution vastly more color-fast against wet (sweaty) bodies.
