This foot mounted without problem to my Festool jigsaw.
I needed it to cope a house trim out with 7" coped crown. That kind of crown needs a lot of material removed and for that it worked very well.
It only took a couple of practice cuts to get the hang of it.
It stayed put thru the entire job.
This kit came with s few washer shims which may be needed for certain models of jigsaw. My Festool did need a single shim. Installation and removal takes only a couple of minutes.
The instructions that come with it are ok. Better are the videos online st their website.
This is great for coping. It is so much faster and moreover precise.
I didn't even use my coping saw once on the whole job.
I would highly recommend it to any finish carpenter.

Usefull accessory for coping with the jigsaw.

There really isn't anything else like it on the market. It does take a couple cuts to get the hang of it, but after a week or so running crown, it will feel like second nature. As for the quality of the product...its beefy, it does something that is a one of a kind task, and does it well. I bought this because I am running what feels like linear miles of 10" x 1 3/4", and the common methods of grinding or coping by hand was going to be a nightmare. I am actually better after a few weeks with this on my carvex than I am with any other method I have tried...the amout of time spent on the cut, and on file touch up is much improved...Would buy again 10/10...if you cope crown, you need this.
P.S. dont be an idiot...build the clamping rack described in the instruction manual.

One suggestion: the company should include in the packet a correctly fitting hex-head screw for the DeWalt saws it recommends.
