good clamps for special applications
wilson•September 3, 2017
I've just started using these spring clamps. They are very handy for holding wood pieces together when the following conditions exist: (a) a small dent in the material is acceptable. (b) clamping depth is not required, (c) clamping jaw size is <=2". these come in especially handy when small pieces are involved as you can get the spring clamp jaws into tight places.
Great idea. Work very well on soft wood

Great idea. Work very well on soft wood. Haven't tried them on hard wood, but expect no problems there. Purpose made pliers (not included) are a nice add on.
Makes framing a pure joy!

Absolutely the best and easiest clamps for framing. The tiny hole it leaves is barely noticeable. I love that I am able to transport a frame from one area to another as soon as it's been glued and clamped, and I'm able to have 3 frames drying at the same time. The most consuming time with making frames now is the measuring and cutting (with a power miter saw). Makes framing a pure joy!
Great for good fitting corners.

Pretty good clamp. Minimal surface damage from the pointed ends. Does a good job off holding 45 degree cuts for glue to dry. They allow minor adjustments in your corners. They are not strong enough to close a bad cut corner but are good for holding them in place.
work well
