Doesn't hold AR style very well. Works okay for center fire. I'm 6' and I find this to sit a little low so it's hard to get in and out of the jeep without hitting your head. It is also way over priced for what it is.

Jeeps are unique because of the exposed roll bar. I am going to get a second Rack for the roll bar above the back seat.
Jeeps don't have much in the way of storage space so you have to find space where you can.

Waste of money

I received the gun rack on a Friday. I attempted to install it that night. It wouldn't hold a 308 AR without twisting and hitting me in the head. No matter how much torque I put on it it would not stay in place. I tried several lighter rifles and it still leaned with the gun.
Next, if you are 6 foot you'll knock your head every time you get in your jeep.
I ended up mounting it in the rear behind the rear seat. Then went for a drive. It rattles and squeaks so much I thought my spare was loose.
Cool idea, terrible product.
