Almost completely useless---barely fires suction cup bolts, and generally underwhelming.

I got suckered into buying this because I needed it for a halloween costume- and it's almost completely useless. The quality is dollar store level. Obviously, I wasn't expecting an Excalibur Matrix at this price, but it still would have been more fun if this actually shot the toy crossbow bolts with any kind of force or accuracy. But the string is so loose and floppy that it barely propels the suction cup-tipped bolt off the end of the crossbow, nevermind actually hitting anything more than 3 feet away. Just seems like wasted opportunity to turn a crappy toy into a moderately entertaining one.
As a static prop for a costume, it's fine---not particularly realistic, since the stock is so hollow and plastic-y, and the scope isn't real. Also it's very small, so it's only going to work for shorter people's Halloween costumes---it'll look ridiculous on a tall person. Finally, it would have been nice if they included a carrying strap, or even just attachment points---I rigged it up myself, but it would have been nice if there were pre-molded rings through which a strap could be mounted.
I would definitely not repurchase this or recommend it to anyone.

The crossbow itself is nice but the deer targets are extremely small & very hard to hit given the giant suction cups on the arrows. Not what I had expected.
