Very cool hat! High quality and no issues. The only problem I have is that I wear a size 10 hat and have lots of hair, and I couldn't get this to fit without being a teensy bit tight. I would love to have the option of a bigger size that allows for long hair!

We bought about 10 different hats for our boat in san francisco, my girlfriend always pulls this one out (ergodyne n-ferno) and says "this is the best hat" and offers it to her friend(s) first, and then when they don't pick it (due to looks) she happily puts it on. It's very warm. The ear holes make a big difference, this is a well built hat.
Update: went out sailing in 52F/11C weather during Christmas weekend in San Francisco Bay, this is still Girlfriends go-to hat, comfortably reading a book on Deck at anchor yesterday in 5 mph breeze. Just bought a second one. "Girlfriend approved!"
We bought the large/xtra large size, and we have average sized heads. It fits us fine. I would imagine "medium" would fit a child.
