Love it! Cost effective way to give your kitchen a facelift.

I love it! Extend the life of old appliances by using this. It can be tedious and can take sometime but so worth it! I watched a lot of YouTube videos to help with installation. The water spray is a waste a time, so don't bother. Seems incredibly easy and it is.... but really it isn't. You will get frustrated but don't give up! The finish product is worth it and my kitchen looks great! It is important to allow it to adjust to the room temperature.... or use a hair dryer to help soften it up a little bit. See before and after pictures.
Got the job done! Kitchen transformed!

This worked out way better than I ever could have imagined. I bought this because I absolutely hate white appliances. I'm not exactly sure why but I hate them. My apartment complex won't let me upgrade the appliances, so I needed a fix. This was an inexpensive and very effective solution. It's changed the entire complexion of my kitchen and I love it.

I didn't use water to apply it and I think it worked out better (based on some of the reviews I read). I had a few air bubbles. I used a blow dryer to eliminate to the 2 or 3 that I had. You have to take your time. I am impatient, but it still came out really good. I didn't take before and after though pics though.

I bought the biggest size and it was only enough to do the dishwasher front, microwave front, and refrigerator front. I need more to do the oven.

Very happy with my purchase.
I have a new looking refrigerator!!

I purchased the EZ Decor Stainless Steel Peel and Stick to spruce-up our 20-year-old refrigerator that is in our basement kitchen. I knew my husband would roll his eyes at the idea of putting a sticker on a refrigerator, so I did not really tell him my idea. Therefore, I was alone in working this project. I was a little nervous because I had read that you need two people to get it done. I prepped the surface like instructed and got to work. The application process was incredibly easy for me. Of course the first strip is the hardest, as that is how you learn. So, I made the mistake of using the wrong end of the squeegee in one spot (not the felt side) and it scratched the surface a little. However, you cannot see it very much. The entire project was easy. Here are my tips:

1. Leave the doors on and allow gravity to help with the application. This will require cutting around hinges and whatnots, but it is not hard to do and requires a little creativity.
2. Pull the backing paper down from the top of your strip (about 4-5") and take extra care to line up the top to make sure it is horizontal and a good placement. If the top of your strip is lined up properly, the sides will also line up (think geometry class in 10th grade and right angles).
3. Use your hand or the squeegee to smooth down the stainless decal as you go along (I found my hand worked just fine in many spots). Once you hit the part where the backing paper is still on, reach your hand underneath and pull the backing paper. I worked in segments of about 5", pulling backing paper off and smoothing the decal as I went. I found the stainless decal went on very easily and I hardly had any bubbles.
4. If you do get bubbles or little creases, use the squeegee to move them to the outer edge. I did not have many instances where I needed to pull the decal up and reposition.
5. Once the face is on, bend the sides over the edge and use the squeegee to make a nice smooth surface. The corners will require some cutting to make the edges fold over nicely. Cut excess that might cover the gasket.
6. Spray paint handles and reattach.
7. Sit back and relax with a nice glass of wine and admire your new fridge!

I am amazed at how my refrigerator looks. My kids thought I bought a new one. Husband was quite surprised and gave the thumbs-up. My refrigerator looks new. My only gripe (and the reason for 4 stars) is that this was a smaller refrigerator compared to the one in my main kitchen (fridge is only 65" tall). The roll only covered the doors (top one is freezer and bottom fridge), plus one side and half the top of the fridge. I feel that for $84 I should have had enough for the entire refrigerator (top, 2 sides and doors). The other thing I will say is that the decal is super sticky. I can't imagine removing this from the refrigerator at this point. So for anyone wanting to use it in a rental house, beware you may not be able to get it off. I liked the super sticky aspect, because I want a permanent decal. In closing, I am extremely happy. I just hope it withstands people using the refrigerator.
Fools everyone!

We remodeled our kitchen over the past year. I never planned on a "real" remodel. You know how that goes. Started with painting the cabinets and ended up with a new kitchen. We did all of the work ourselves. I had no intention of buying a new fridge or dishwasher. Ours worked fine and we liked them a lot. But ours were black and they stuck out like a sore thumb. Or, as my kitchen designer would say, a black hole. They sucked your eyes to them against the white a gray cabinets. So, I figured, what do we have to lose. We spent an entire day on the project. My husband removed the doors from the fridge and the DW to apply the film. Our fridge is textured and unless you are standing right next to it, you don't notice. The only problem we ran into is our doors have rounded sides and that makes it a little challenging to cut and lay it properly without leaving bumps. So, again, if you looked closely at the tops and bottoms of the doors, you'd see the folds. But it has changed the kitchen dramatically. Now we can use these appliances until they die instead of spending $1500 - $2000 unnecessarily. Highly recommend. But, only install with your most anal/OCD friends. This is not something you can slap on and move around. You only have a small window of opportunity to do it right. Oh, and we also put it on the side of our black coffee maker. You'd never know.
Great temporary alternative to a fridge - really looks like stainless steel!

I was a bit hesitant at using this at first. My husband and I totally re-modeled our kitchen - new stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, flooring, etc., but when didn't quite want to pull the trigger on a new fridge. We are actually kind of drawn to the smart fridges, but would like to price to go down a bit first. Anyway, all of our new appliances are stainless steel, so having our old, nasty fridge in the middle of all these beautiful new appliances was a bit of an eyesore.

Even with the good reviews, you kind of think to yourself... "isn't this going to look a little bit tacky? And obvious?" The answer is NO. Trust me, I'm a snob when it comes to appliances. I was very leery about this but my husband pulled the trigger. I am shocked at how flawless it looks...it truly looks like a stainless steel fridge now. When my mom saw it she was really excited to see my "new fridge" - she couldn't tell it was a sticker.

It's pretty easy to put on, although I recommend having two people for ease and pushing out all the bubbles. There are plenty of videos out there to help walk you through it. A great deal and for now much better than buying a new fridge! I only say temporary because the fridge is super old and won't last forever, but until it does it might as well look good!
