Like others have said the plastic holder for the balls was broken in numerous places. I was disappointed that All four of each the silver & gold balls have the same markings on them. I had to paint the stripe markings different colors so we could each use 2 balls to play pétanque😒 We are ok w our purchase. I will pay better attention nxt time.

I am giving this product a 3/5 stars. The Boules themselves were fine. You only need three per person to play Petanque, but I figure having a spare in fine. The case they arrived in was junk. The plastic holders were smashed to pieces one zipper was broken off and the other broke as I was trying to open the case. I made some holders for the boules myself, but if you're not that handy you may want to look elsewhere.

I bought this brand versus others because the case/zipper/packaging had bad reviews on the other brands. There was nothing positive about this case, but I took that as a vague sign that the packaging was good. Happy news! The case is VERY well made, with good padding to keep the balls safe, the zipper is excellent, the handle is well made. You can lug this thing around without worrying the balls will fall out. The plastic inside that keeps the balls snug is breakable, and it would be nice if they improve on that, but this was the case for other brands. It's not in a way that compromises its functioning. The balls store very securely and snugly when you put them in. It doesn't come with a lot of bells and whistles --- no bottle opener and so forth --- but it does what it promises well and the case will last a while it looks like. Also the tape measure included does what needed for judging whose ball is closest etc. The balls are of excellent quality as appears to be true for other brands, and I like having silver and gold for playing with my kids. FWIW a 7y old and a 4y old have tons of fun with this game, though the 4y old needs supervision as the balls are heavy and could hurt little toes if dropped.
