okay light
Daddy-do-right✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 18, 2017
The light functionality itself I really like as it reacts well to motion and has a nice bright spotlight that covers a decent area. Really my only knock worth mentioning is it goes through batteries very quickly. I have tried new, good brand name batteries and I find myself having to swap them out too often. If you go with this I recommend getting some good rechargeable batteries.
Couple of problems
J. Watson✓ Verified PurchaseJune 15, 2017
Wow, really bright. Found them a bit cheaper on another major site after I already put them up. Biggest problem is that the periphferal"‹ motion sensing is not as good as direct sensing. I use these lights attached to trees to light up a path. You have to be almost directly under it for it to activate. Also, I'd prefer a flood of light rather than a narrow beam.

UPDATE: I use these to light up a pathway. I raised them from about 8' to 12'. They work much better.
After 5 weeks 1 won't go off
Melba H.✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 31, 2017
I've had these for 5 weeks and 1 stays on all the time so i have to put fresh expensive batteries in ever 2-3 days, they make good light but should work right after such a short time, i can't find a address to contact the seller which i thought was strange as I've always been able to contact a seller if there was a problem with their product. Better luck with yours as they are not cheap.
UPDATE: I called amazon and the lights are actually sold by Amazon, they are going to send me new ones even tho the 30 days is past. Thank you Amazon
Be aware of RF traps... otherwise lights work great.
W. Mansfield✓ Verified PurchaseJanuary 4, 2017
If you buy these, be aware that they are susceptible to RF interference. My situation is probably 1 in 1000. I mounted these on a metal carport. One is at the end facing out into my driveway and the other two inside near the center aimed down at the doors of the truck. The one pointing outside and away from my house worked great, but the two inside the carport would not stop coming on randomly. I noticed they would both come on at the EXACT same time, which seemed impossible, as there was zero movement going on and they aren't pointed toward the same areas. I thought about this a bit and finally decided to wrap one of the lights in aluminum foil to see if it would stop... and behold... the light worked normally. I ended up taking off the cover and wrapping the inside of the battery compartment and circuit board area with double layered aluminum foil and sealed them back up. Now both appear to be working correctly. The only thing I can come up with is the carport is acting like an antenna and signal trap around its interior. I can see now why some people wear tin hats.

I was a little skeptical after reading some of the bad reviews, but most of the reviews were positive so I went ahead and purchased it. It's been about a month now, and it has lit up my darken stairs outdoors without any problems. I'll wait a little longer before I install the other two in different areas. I don't know how it would work when exposed to the weather--possibly apply sealant by the seam to keep moisture out.
