I so wanted these to work but I had a few major issues and had to return the item:
- They slipped at the heel when I walked. My toes were right up against the end of the shoe so sizing down wasn't an option.
- The construction/workmanship wasn't great. Inside one of the shoes was a lot of uneven bulges where the lower met the upper. It went all along the side of the shoe, like the lower hadn't been trimmed to size right and would have caused me much discomfort.
- They are clunky and a little heavy, which I'd have been ok with if not for the other things. They were intended to be utilitarian, not cute.

I had no issues getting them on as others said, and I have a high instep. Ordered the same size as I normally wear.

I was looking for some winter shoes that were warm and a bit waterproof, but not bulky and heavy. These are great! They are super hard to slip into the first time, but that's good because then they don't slop off. Great price too.

Used for one 3 week winter trip to Fairbanks AK. Not easy to slip on with wool socks but comfortable fit. I had read previous reviews and ordered up. My feet stayed warm for short trips and walks in - degrees, although I don't know about extended times out in sub zero. They worked for what my intentions were, were comfortable, kept my feet warm and dry and were a decent price.

The snow boot runs a little small so I purchased the next size up. My wife's normal size shoe is a 7 which turned out to be too small, so I ordered a size 8 and it fits just right. Similarly, I ordered a size 9 when my normal shoe size is 8 to 8.5. Very good outside boot!

I'm from Florida and needed some very warm shoes for a very cold trip. Was a little apprehensive because these were not sold in half sizes and I knew that I would be wearing thick socks. Purchased based on the reviews that said the shoe was loose at the heel. The fit was perfect and even though the heel was a bit loose, it actually worked out fine for getting on and off. Wore them with wool socks and my feet were borderline too warm. I was concerned with the new shoe wear on my foot, but was able to wear them 4 days straight with no problems or discomfort. Would definitely purchase again.
