Two leaky bags

This item was a replacement for the same item I had previously purchased. The original heating pad had started leaking and I tried to find contact info for the company so I could contact customer service, but could not locate it. I decided maybe I just had a defective bag - there were no burns, no marks...nothing, so I just purchased another. Well, the same thing happened within about three months. I have now had two in about six months. Again, no marks, burns, nothing. Just a leaking bag. Both times I followed the heating instructions and both times leaky bags. I truly love this item, but honestly feel this may be some kind of manufacturer defect.

This worked nicely for as long as it lasted, which was about 2 months, after which it fell apart and started leaking its contents. See photos. Definitely not the quality you would expect for this price!!! It looks as though the cloth is rotted, it is falling apart at the seam (not burned).

I have several rice filled heating bags and was looking for one that was larger and more versatile. I love the size of this wrap and the covering is great, however it doesn't get as hot as the others I own. I've tried keeping it in the microwave longer, to the point I was concerned it would burn, but even when I manage to get it good and hot, it seems to cool down more quickly. I think the fleece covering definitely keeps a portion of the heat off the skin, so it has helped somewhat to remove it. It's still nice, and I get use out of it for my upper back and sore arms. Not sure why it doesn't retain heat as well as my other bags.
Doesn't get warm/hot.

I read all + reviews. I find that the pack needs heating longer than 3 minutes. Warning states: "Do not overheat; risk of fire." Any time longer than three minutes give off a "burn" smell. Help. So many good reviews. Use good quality microwave. What to do?

I suffer from chronic pain in my body.The last year has been the worst. It is worse in my back the cause being Fibromyalgia with both Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis both severely degenerative in my spin.
