I really like the idea of taking one dose a day. The AREDS formula two has always been 2 doses morning and evening. I would always forget a dose. The full benefit of the supplement can only be realized when you consistently take a full daily recommended amount. I was very happy when the single dose a day came out. I like it even better because I have it on a schedule and it comes to me automatically about 5 days before I run out.

This company that makes Pro Optic areds2 are great. I called the company to place an order and I actually spoke to the owner of the company. In this day and age that personalized customer service just doesn't happen. They were so friendly and helpful and the pills are natural and made by hand. I am battling Retina Macular Degeneration in my left eye. I am responding well to the treatments and taking the Pro Optic areds2 and have regained over 70% of my sight back in my left eye and the site in my other eye is improving also. My husband has been using another OTC brand of eye pills because he has age-related macular degeneration. At his last appointment the ophthalmologist gave him samples of PRO-OPTIC and suggested that he take PO instead of the current pills. He had a large supply of the other pills so he is continuing to use up those before starting on the PRO-OPTIC...therefore my rating of five stars is not accurate, but I am sure he will like the P-O because one PO per day takes the place of the current 2 pills twice a day. With the other medications he takes, he says that some days he feels that lunch is made up of pills!
