Good rail, crappy wrench

Received the extension today and mounted it on my existing rail. When I tightened the screws, the attached allen wrench slipped and both screws were just a bit more thant hand tight. I was just thinking of cutting a slot in the screw to use it with a screw driver, when I tried another allen wrench from my shop. Worked like a charm,
I saw other reviews, stating the same problem. The issue is the free allen wrench, I measured both, the freebe and mine which works. Looks like the attached freebe is a 3mm where as the screw requires a 1/8"(3.2 mm)
The rail itself is perfect. Good quality , like it. Pitty that the wrench doesn't fit and starts rounding the hex slots.

Solid! Use it to run a red dot and vortex 3x on my 10/22. The set up allowed me to move the optics closer to my shoulder for easy target acquisition.
Does not match up properly with other rail mount items sadly.

Most rail mount items can mate up with another product right next to them... This does NOT. the only down side is I can't put this in the rail slot I want, it has to be 1 notch forward. My last scope mount went right up against my BUIS, this is about 1/16 off, and can't fit properly. It'd be 5 stars if it did. I'm sighted in REALLY well with it, and it is very secure.
