My neck is totally fused plus I suffer from spinal stenosis. I have issues with pain, weakness, and fatigue. I would often seek relief by wearing the standard issue c-collar provided when I had surgery. When it became necessary to replace it I chose a Miami J. It was a wise decision. I feel completely immobilized in this collar. The neck angle is perfect. It is easy to 'cheat' in a standard collar, not so with a Miami J, you are locked in position. Comfort on the jaw and chest area is greatly improved with this collar. I can wear the Miami J comfortably much longer than the standard. I find it to be well worth the money, certainly so if you are in a similar situation as myself. My review is for the standard sized Miami J.

These fit numerous sizes, thicker and more comfortable than original pads. Medical Suppliers charge $70.00, so this is a great value. I am very pleased with this product, the fit, the comfort, the value. The color does not matter. I fractured[broke] my neck, so I needed replacement pads, since I had the same pads this Miami J Collar came with in the E.R., for over 6 weeks. These pads are the best. If this Miami J Collar is going to have to be worn another 6 weeks, I will be ordering another set. Even after washing the original pads, I dislike the idea of putting them back on.

Comfortable and affordable, I'm glad I got this. Plane chairs do not offer back or neck support for tall folk, so I'm usually in agony the entire flight. I used a pillow for back support, and then the neck brace for neck stability while I "tried" to sleep.
