Helps with old dog's teeth

Works well to keep dogs foul breath at bay. Not a miracle worker, but it helps. Anything with chlorahexidine works well for bad teeth in dogs. It would of worked better if I started it early on in the dog's life when he was starting to have bad teeth issues.

My dogs are used to having their teeth brushed, so I dabbed some of this on a q-tip and sparingly swabbed their teeth. I did not use the squirt nozzle as I wanted to use as little as possible to avoid any possible stomach upset.
The labrador tolerated it well, but the 2 small dogs acted like I was rubbing gasoline in their mouths. I tasted it to be sure it wasn't stinging, and it actually has a somewhat pleasant orange taste. Anyway, I keep trying and they seem to slowly get used to it. I don't know how much it helps bc I am not consistent to do it every day. I figure it can't hurt.

This product REALLY works! I have a 15 yr old lab and his breath was terrible. I brush his teeth with enzyme tooth paste and give dentastix 2x day but it did NOT help. This rinse has chlorhexidine which kills the bacteria that is causing the problem. His teeth and gums look so much better too. It is very easy to use and has a great taste! (Yes I tried it!) You just slide tube along inside of cheek area and squeeze bottle as you pull out. A thin stream coats teeth and gums, and my dog licks around getting solution all through his mouth!
