Great price and sturdy!
Nio MatrixJune 12, 2018
Sturdy, strong, long and great price. You will need to buy straps to keep this from wiggling too much since it's at a single point of attachment and all bikes do not perfectly balance on a bumpy road on this rack or with any rack.
seat or down tubes so you don't need extra top bar attachments for traditional women's bikes and four could probably be secured by someone with better geometry skills than me

I bought this because I could not mount three adult bikes on our 3 bike Allen Sports rack. This gives us the room we need for three mountain bikes. For me, four bikes on this rack would be a challenge but the rubber pads are moveable in such a way that they can be strapped to the top, seat or down tubes so you don't need extra top bar attachments for traditional women's bikes and four could probably be secured by someone with better geometry skills than me. It is very stable in our 1.25" hitch- much more than our old rack. I recommend this rack.
Solid carrier

This is a solid carrier to use if you have a 1.25" receiver. If I had a 2" receiver I would probably consider a different product since the included adapter is made out of plastic. We road/mountain bike regularly and haven't had any issues with this rack. I did change out the straps that came with the carrier with some tie down straps but that's just me being overly cautious. The only thing i would change about this product is the inclusion of some sort of lock/key mechanism or something so that I can leave it on vehicle instead of having to take it off for fear of it being stolen when we get to the area we ride.
A durable and versatile product at a good price

I bought this for a tough 5 day 800 driving mile bike trip on the excellent Ohio to Erie trail. One of our scoutmasters' racks collapsed under the strain. I had this one fully loaded the whole trip over tough roads, fast and bumpy interstates - gravel roads, ruts, bumps etc. It never failed an was easy to get the bikes on and off. The mounts are very versatile for different types of bikes. The only trouble I had was when my air shocks went out and the truck was very low to the ground which caused the bike tires to drag in low dips. The mast would need to be taller on very low autos that are less than 6" from the ground when fully loaded. But other than that - this is an excellent product for the price and very durable. Don't underestimate how useful the fold back feature is. I have mounted this on a Geo Tracker, Chevy Astro Van and Dodge Grand Caravan - in all cases the fold back feature has been invaluable to get to gear stored in the back of the vehicle once the bikes are off the rack. It worked in every case. The price is also very good for this type of rack.
$99- worth every penny

Before buying this rack, I read most of the comments left by customers. Most of them complained about the plastic hitch adaptor, which makes sens. The rack itself is a good one, but not the adaptor, so I went to UHaul and got me a sturdy one for 15 bucks. As soon as I installed it, I was able to see a huge difference. The rack is sturdy, and holds 4 bikes. Before buying this hitch rack, if you have a 2" hitch, buy first a really good steel adaptor for 1 1/4". Some customers complained the rack wiggles around. Not if you tight really good those bolts. My rack survived bumps, and potholes, and 70 miles/hour speed on the highway with just a little to none wiggle.
