Really work well for my little guy. He is a long hair Chihuahua with a small mouth and hard to get in there to brush. This stuff took the plaque away and has no order or taste. I recommend it especially for small dogs.

My dog is 13 years old. Every time I take my dog to the Veterinarian they report that her teeth are looking good. I feed her Iams dry and wet food.

Bought this to help keep my Schnauzers and my adopted retired Greyhounds teeth white and fresh..
I adopted a retired female racing Greyhound a few months ago. She is in excellent health all except her teeth and breath. They were severely stained and her breath was horrendous. I took her in for an initial physical with my Vet. He stated she was I excellent good health, her teeth were badly stained, which was due to the poor diet, racers were fed a high protein not much else type of diet, and no concentration on their dental health. She had a dental performed once she was handed over to the Greyhound adoption agency, But! they just did a basic cleaning. I bought her and our boy (Schnauzer) some C.E.T. dental chew and then read about Oratene water additive. I decided to give it a try. I follow the directions on the bottle and now 2 months later, My sweet girls teeth are now better, the stains are diminishing. Her breath has much improved, But! still a bit bad. . But! one thing I found is not only does Oratene work on the teeth, but! at getting stains out of my White! Schnauzer beard, which was a big issue as well, he has the most amazing silky white coat, but over the last few years his beard has become stained (mostly from his saliva, which has a high acidity) I wanted something that was safe, nontoxic and harmful to help remove the stain . Well after using Oratene not only does he have the pearliest white ivories, But! his beard is now that silky soft pure! white, once again!!. This stuff actually works on both the stains on his fur/beard and helps control plaque on his teeth. I am on our 3rd bottle and now is part of the auto refill/ship along with their food and other pet products we use.

This enzyme water additive actually works. One of my pups has stinky breath and I have looked for and tried various additives. I wanted something that had no flavor, scent, or bad chemicals. They all seemed to be geared for human preferences rather than dogs! My dogs turned their noses up at several before I found this. Gave this a try, they had no issues with it, and after using it consistently, I have noticed that his breath is greatly improved. It doesn't happen immediately, but by being faithful, it will eventually. Seems a little on the expensive side but actually, you use such a small amount and it lasts a very long time, so it's not. I squirt the recommended amount into the bowl for the amount of water I'm going to use, and then stir with a small wisk since it's a syrupy consistency. Don't forget to shake the bottle each time before use.
