My glider did Not come with the rubber band launcher. Its impossible to really throw it by hand because of the size.

This is a shoddy toy. The black plastic piece that goes underneath broke off on the fourth launch into my yard, never to be seen again. It doesn't fly very far either. Because it's styrofoam, air resistance brings it down almost immediately. We got three crappy flights out of it and then it went into the trash. Don't waste your money.
