LCN are well known and reliable closers. This one can be installed on a door that opens on right hand or left hand side and can be installed on pull or push side of door. Best to install closer on the inside of building. I've used these closers before and they are very reliable.
Instructions are concise but with pics. study them first and installation will be quick and easy. You'''ll need allen wrenches to make adjustments in speed and force. and a large open end wrench to adjust the hold-open position. These are things the average DIYer might not have on hand.
You can adjust closing force, closing speed, latch speed (speed for last few inches of closing), back check (how far the door can open), and hold-open position on the model with the hold-open device.
You can get cheaper closers for the home but not better ones for the money, ime.
