I wish I would have taken photos. I messed up my teal dye by accidentally getting my hair wet in the pool. So I dunked my head in the hot tub a few times and got most of it to fade but not enough to have a new color over it. I wanted red for fall but knew it might make brown. Last time i tried color oops I got a weird green color so I tried this one. I will say, in 15 minutes the color was gone (I used teal punky colors). I did do a hair mask afterwards because I was afraid of my bleached hair getting further damaged. Then used a coloring conditioner in merlot. It came out perfect. My only issue is how bad this stuff stinks. I can still smell it in my bathroom and I might be imagining it but after what felt like 100 washes, i think I can still smell it in my hair a bit. But its the best color remover I've ever used.

COS was easy to mix, but have a squeeze bottle on hand. It will make the application much easier. I used the developer bottle from the same mixed box color that wrecked my hair.

You apply this stuff for 20 minutes then rinse/wash/rinse.then check the results. COS removes hair color in layers, so it's OK to do this up to 3 times to get the results you want. For me, I went from fresh permanent dark brown color to light yellow blond in just one application.

There's no ammonia or peroxide in this stuff to destroy your hair, but it stinks like rotten eggs. It's not as bad as other reviews have said it was and if you follow the directions, the smell will go away. (Rinse for 10 minutes, then shampoo 3-5 times and then rinse another 10 minutes)

That not only reduces the smell, but that's also the method to remove all the old color effectively.

This stuff works by opening the hair cuticle allowing the color be easily washed out. If you want good results, It is extremely important to follow the instructions in the box. You really do need to rinse for ten minutes, then wash with a clarifier shampoo at least 3-5 times in a row for the old dye to wash away.

Overall, I'm very happy with results. The awful color washed out and I recolored as soon as I dried my hair.

I really was skeptical of this product, but was desperate because my hair turned black and dark maroon at the roots from a permanent dye. My ends were very dry and the color soaked up a lot of dye and it looked hideous. I used this product and followed the instructions. That's what is the most important thing to do is to follow the instructions and repeat the rinse over and over again. It pulled all of the dye out of my hair and I am so relieved. Definitely recommend! I posted before and after pictures. My hair is naturally brown, and it went back to my natural hair.

The media could not be loaded. I have my hair dyed red, but I gave myself a dye that was very dark, I used this product which is excellent, it does not damage your hair and the result is incredible. I left it on for 40 minutes, it has a very strong smell be aware that but it works, I wish I had discovered this product sooner, it would have saved me bad experiences with my hair damaged by bleaching.100% very good product.

I normally have blonde hair, I dyed it red on a whim and hated it! It's a big process getting red out of hair and returning to blonde. This is after my first treatment. It doesn't smell great, but we'll worth it.
