Product arrived & assembled OK, but poor assembly instructions

The rock guard arrived on time and in good condition. For assembling the rock guard to e.g. the bumper on a Class C RV it came with all the hardware needed. However, since I assembled the rock guard to the chassis frame on my older Class A gas I needed to buy another 8' steel bar, which I found at the local Lowes store.
The instructions that came with the rock guard were useless & misleading and suggested the rubber guard had to be squeezed & folded or something. Nevertheless, following multiple & careful measurements, I was able to size and space the two sections properly and assemble them securely to the 8' metal bar that I attached underneath my coach. The rock guard still has about a 3.5" clearance to the ground, which is maybe 0.5" less then I wanted it to be, but should work fine.

Purchased the Rock Solid Protective Guard while on Vacation. We noticed upon arrival (without the guard) that the vehicle we were towing was hit by oil, road debris, etc. Went online to Amazon, purchased and had a local Truck Stop install. Given it was a little long for our RV they suggested overlapping the excess material. When we got home we noticed our (towed) vehicle was nearly perfectly clean. No oil, no road debris, etc. Truly an incredible investment for RV owners. Good Quality, Protects as Promised and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Seems like it is going to do the job ok. I bought a piece of 1 1/2 angle iron and bolted it to the frame just behind the bumper as I had a hitch and wiring that would have prevented it to mount to the bumper. That piece cost me $17 but it came out looking really clean. I cut four inches off each of the four foot pieces to get it to set up under the coach using a saw and a pair of snips. Was pretty straight forward.

Installed this on my 2019 Forest River FR3 to protect my tow vehicle from rocks and debris coming from the street. I was very pleased with the install process and the quality and performance of the product. It came with all the parts needed to install, (Including the metal "L" bracket, which wasn't listed in the product description). I did have to trim the rubber panels to fit my needs, but this was easily done with an electric saber saw. The results have been excellent as I've noticed no damage to my tow vehicle, even after driving more than 2000 miles in all types of road conditions. I've been very happy with my purchase. My only tip would be to use Locktite on the screws to prevent any of the screws from vibrating loose over time.

The product arrived speedily and in perfect condition. My husband used angle metal to attach to the bumper as he wanted it recessed. He did cut out for the trailer hitch and exhaust pipe and it was a easy as stated in the product description. It looks good and worked to protect the car and trailer we pull.
