Fits good on 2000 Silverado
Brake cable good, but design by Chevy flawed

Brake cable good, but design by Chevy flawed. I've replaced 10 of these now on my 2001 Silverado. I don't yank it extra hard or anything, it's just is at an angle that wears the wire cable quickly, then it pops off the metal ball at the end. Stupid design, I think it should actually be a recall.

Perfect replacement for 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab LS trim. I also used the original handle as it looked nicer and was pretty easy to swap the cable out. Let's see if it lasts
