I got this on sale for just over $5. I wish I had bought more! The fit is nicely adjustable so I can wear it alone or over a ballcap. The sizing dial works great even one-handed, and it has a positive locking wheel so it won't slip loose while wearing. Fit is comfortable and not so close to the face where it fogs easily. It offers enough space to allow wearing eyeglasses, sunglasses, or even goggles underneath. I highly recommend this face shield!

Good Alternative to Face Mask

To be honest, I purchased this item because I really don't like the cloth face masks. I don't put this product to the rigors of a machine shop.
I like that this face shield has so many available adjustments. Between the headband and crown strap, the shield can be adjusted to fit well. It is well-balanced so I can easily lift it out of the way to eat and drink. It is easy to clean and does not scratch (again, I am not particularly hard on it). I have found that when I have the shield too close to my chin, it can start to fog but all I have to do is pull it out a bit and it clears on its own.
My one difficulty is that the headband is not terribly comfortable where it meets the forehead. The cushion is between two flat pieces of plastic fused together leaving a sharp seam. Enclosing the cushion in a plastic tube would create a rounded edge that would be more comfortable. Still, the edge of the cushion is only an issue if the shield is worn for a long time (such as grocery shopping).
