First things first, the Amazon size chart may or may not be accurate for you. It seems like at the time of many previous reviews, it was accurate. When I made my order on 10/30/15, the chart looked just like your average US size chart, putting my 32 inch waist right in the Medium range of 32-34. But I sifted through the reviews and saw that I should order Small, so I did. And they fit perfectly. Both the box and the tag on the trunks say that they are US size S and both indicate that this translates to 32-34 inches (see photo). My recommendation is to order a size smaller (if you're L, get M, etc.) and ignore the Amazon size chart, which may be fixed or it may not.

OK, so how are the trunks? Yes, trunks. They're not really boxer briefs, the inseam is maybe 2" below the end of the white ball-holder panel. Which is probably about 2" below the true anatomic inseam. So 4" of total inseam in a perfect condition. But with how soft and smooth the fabric is on these things, they won't sit in that perfect condition. The leg bottoms will ride up. With how short the trunks are and how smooth the fabric is, this is not avoidable unless they lined the leg opening with some rubber for grip (like some compression or cycling shorts do). But given the ingenuity and comfort of these trunks, I don't care that the legs ride up. Not really. It would be awesome if they also had them in an actual long boxer brief style, where the anatomy of thigh muscles could keep them from riding up.

Well, they're awesome. The ingenuity of the concept alone is enough to buy a pack, just to see/feel in action. This no-name company just solved the biggest problem of male underwear in warm conditions: various parts sticking together. Even if, in the end, the trunks don't fit you right, feel weird in how they do what they do, whatever...I think it's worth paying $25.99 just to see and experience the elegance of the solution.

In my case, they fit great. They do ride up, but trunk-style underwear generally do, since they end at the point of the thigh where the lower thigh muscles (quads and hams) are tapering to their respective heads, and so the 'slope' goes 'down' towards the actual vertical up direction, and so they defy gravity and slide up. I can live with that, but I would be very happy if they came out with a longer-leg boxer-brief version.

The, er....mechanism of the whole thing is ingenious. I've already said that. But it really is. I'm kind of shocked it hasn't been done, ripped off, and cloned to the masses long before now. Having those parts of the anatomy separated takes a touch of getting used to...but when you do, it feels not like having layers of clothing between everything, but like being naked. Everything just seems to be able to swing where it wants to.

One potential downside. I'm not sure yet. The pouch for the ball side of the equation, some have said it's too small. I don't think it's the size alone, but the shape and size tend to stack the boys vertically. In the natural state, one boy hangs out lower than the other in all men (pretty much all external-gonad-possessing mammals actually). Due to the shape of the 'pouch' formed by the white panel, this staggered hang is exaggerated, and the boys go a bit more vertical. It feels a bit weird. Maybe I'll get used to it. I've only been wearing the things for a day. I'll update this review if it bothers me after a few days have passed. So I guess if you can read this, this ended up being a non-issue.

Stability. Well, ordinarily I'm always sneaking a quick 'adjust' down there. Even in what were previously my favorite boxer briefs. No need in these. Everything finds its place again after pretty much anything you do. One reason I never liked any of the 'anatomic pouch' style underwear I've tried is that, well, in my case, the required space changes a lot through the day. Probably more than most, and not in the generous direction. And when things come up to normal, those pouches always put the stuff exactly in the opposite place I would have chosen. But these trunks just kinda get me where I wanted to be.

Yeah, five stars. Zero stars for creating and fostering a huge sizing confusion, maybe that'll get fixed. For now, follow the recommendation of ordering one size down (if you're XL, get L, etc.).

I'm about to order two more packs right now. Based on how quickly they wear and how comfortable they are in the longer term, I plan on buying a five year supply and keeping it in a storage bin. Just in case the only underwear company that understands male anatomy goes out of business. Maybe one day I'll have to face the Elaine dilemma (Seinfeld, "The Sponge").
AMAZING!! 100% RECOMMEND!!

I have struggled forever to find confortable enough underwear. I have tried Hanes, Fruit of Loom, Calvin, Under Armour, Adidas, etc etc and have found no success other then Hanes Total Support Pouch.

This brand was recommended to me by a friend and I was sceptical at first.
My first order was returned, I usually run L or M depending on the brand but Large proved to be very oversized and Medium was just about right although it wouldn't hurt me to size down once more.
Nevertheless I can say I've never felt more comfortable wearing underwear in my life. The material is very soft and almost feels like I'm wearing nothing at all.
The pouch was absolutely perfect and held everything together perfectly!!
The didn't ride up my leg once and although I don't tend to produce excessive B/O in my crotch area, these underwear still smelled very fresh and not once felt sweaty when I wore them.
I'm super excited to purchase more pairs soon!
Definitely found my new favourite brand!
Beware people will start to stare after you start wearing these amazing things.

Wow this underwear is amazing. Well that's what my Mr. said anyways. When he puts them on everything just slides right right into place. He is not the largest guy but when he puts these on he looks like he is. When just walking around in the underwear and when wearing pants too. His confidence will most definitely be on an all time high. They are easy to use when he needs to pee. Nothing rides up anywhere and it is very comfortable. He no longer pulls at his pants or flips his balls to the other side. I knocked one star because it was a Christmas present he opened it looked at the package and said what is this so I had to tell him that it was the hammock underwear.
Almost perfect, still searching

These are super comfortable! Very soft material, comfortable waistband, no labels (print on) and keeps your parts separate, reducing sweat. At first, I loved the fly. It is very easy to get out of. However, re-insertion with 1 hand through a zipper in a public restroom is a little awkward. I found I had trouble finding the bottom of the fly to pull down over. They are very flattering though, the lift and separation is very nice.

I have waited to write this review until I have had these underwear for several months.

So, I am 61 years young 6'2" 220 lbs 39 waist. I am a grower not a shower. I have always worn Hanes Comfort Stretch Tagless Briefs in an XL. They have been ok but smash everything together. I tried the Sheath briefs and the pouch for the boys was very uncomfortable and the place for the rod just smashed it not comfortable very big on the fit.

I saw an ad for David Archy online, and finally after much debate thought I would give the Men's 4 Pack of Micro Modal Soft Comfy Briefs 92% Modal 8% Spandex a try. After reading several reviews I decided to order the XL. They were a little big and baggy. I returned them without any problems and ordered them in a Large. The large fit perfect, I washed them in warm and dried them, no fading and no shrinkage, fit is amazing, so super soft and a very nice elasticity to them. These I would say are a low-rise, however they sit at the hip bone. I would like to see a slightly wider waist band. I have since ordered two more of the 4 pack's black and dark grays.

I have since ordered, two of the 3 Pack Soft Modal Briefs 92% Modal 8% Spandex in large and again the fit, feel and pouch are absolutely amazing, these have a wider waist band and sit at the hip bone. These have a little bit of a sheer/see through stripes which I'm ok with.

I have also ordered 4 of the 3Pack Luxury Micro Modal Underwear Breathable Soft Comfort Lightweight Boxer Briefs No Fly. These are a high-end Micro Modal Rib Fabric with a wide waist band, 3D contour Pouch 6.5-inch leg length. No riding up or waist band rolling.

Not a problem at all as my size changes during the day, if you know what I mean. I do not even have to do any adjusting at all. Feels like I am not even wearing any underwear at all. The waist band is very soft and does not roll. As the day goes by, and as all men know we change size by temp and mood it is not a problem plenty of room in the pouch. These are also very good to sleep in.

I can't say enough about this product. Just pull them on and everything stays put in its own place. Everything in its own place no sweat, no sticking just so darn comfortable.
These are the best underwear I have ever owned. I have since spent over $335.00 on this brand and have thrown all of my other underwear away, it will only be David Archy for me from now on. CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!
